So I am Leaving this Site For Another

Getting Leads at an Event, No Problem!: How To Take Control in a Networking Event

A LOT OF PEOPLE GET ANXIETY OVER MEETING NEW PEOPLE AT COMPANY EVENTS…

Mostly because you are surrounded by big names in your business. A lot of people just go into these meetings to get advice on how to advance, which isn’t a bad thing. But, they’re just going to tell you to follow the business presentation model and script and “you’ll be fine”. Chances are, you already have you business presentation down to a “T” and know how to at least to get people to look at you twice. So what should you be doing at these events?

I’m glad you asked. Well, you should be networking!!! This might seem a bit simple, but many people don’t do this. In network marketing, a lot of people exchange information in hopes that some “insider trading” of secrets will somehow be reveal when what actually be taking place is networking in hopes to recruit. A lot of people have some sort of affiliate business that they are associated with that helps them grow a bit more money to put into their primary business (if not, then my friend you need to hop on it! Quick!). At these events you should be interacting with as many people as you can to see who would be a perfect prospect for your affiliate business. Why not get people from your primary business to help you contribute to you pockets?

ARE YOU A BUSINESS CARD PUSHER?!?!?

The one thing that bothers me that a lot of business schools teach is that you MUST give your business card out to everyone you feel may be a good prospect. The craziest thing that I have seen at a networking event is a guy with 400 business cards stuffing them in other people’s folders. I just shook my head.

I have learned that the most successful people do the opposite of what everyone else is doing. Instead of taking business cards, I collect them. Yes, that’s right! I collect those bad boys. I do another crazy thing too…I actually call all of those people the next day to follow up with them. This is how I built a connection with the people who are with my business today.

Instead of giving up my control of the networking situation by giving out my business card and hoping that they would call me (which chances are they won’t because they’ve been getting thousands of business cards handed to them all day), I call them and start talking about the event and their business. This ultimately builds a trust factor and eliminates the thought that I may be selling them something. Everybody HATES being sold to, especially other network marketers.

MORAL OF THE STORY IS….

Instead of pushing your products or your business cards, try pushing trust and genuine communication. Once that is built, then no matter what you’re pushing, they will always buy!

Now I am not saying that you shouldn’t carry any business cards for first timers who are generally interested in working with you. What I am saying is that just as your giving them out, you should always be collecting. This way you have people to call, instead of waiting around for people to call you. The game is all about power and control. Gain yours with a business card.

How To Become a MASTER Recruiter Online…without spending a Dime”

When you get into having your own business a lot of people have questions about recruitment. How the hell do I get people to buy my things???? On the brief video I hosted answering business start up questions, I stated that it isn’t really what you sell, it’s how you sell it.

I recently join in on a Magnetic Sponsoring webinar with Bill and Michelle Pescosolido. Now if you don’t know who they are and you’re entering internet marketing or network marketing. I am going to need you to look them up A.S.A.P. They are one of the top money earners in MLSP and they are facebook marketing gurus.

WITHIN THE FIRST 6 MINUTES OF THE WEBINAR…

I was able to learn new techniques about marketing and driving traffic to a fan or personal page. Some techniques involved pay per click ads which I talked about in my other video and another way was group stalking.

Yes, I said group stalking. Have you ever looked at all the different groups Facebook has? There are literally millions on there! I bet they’re at least 40 groups created everyday!!
The key to group stalking is NOT to spam the hell out of members with your products but to build relationships and network with potential prospects in your target audience. The thing is, it won’t be awkward because you share the commonality of belonging to that same group!

There were many fun-filled tips discussed in the webinar like, how to keep your prospect engaged in your offer, the “Art of Asking questions”, How to handle Objections, and how to handle prospects that you’ve acquired online.
Now all of these tactics I personally use and have been very effective for me!

How I Changed My Life…

THE LAST TIME I WENT SOMEWHERE…

I was looking back at my past summers and reminiscing on how I spent them. There were long, arduous, and studious. Being a pre-med student at Temple University really didn’t afford me much time to study aboard and take in this sights. I wanted to learn but I also wanted to be carefree. Why should wanting to pursue your dream or do what interests you, cost you your freedom or an ability to learn new things and develop a different avenue of thinking? The answer is, it shouldn’t?

WONDERING IF I WOULD EVER SEE THE INSIDE OF A PLANE AGAIN…

I started thinking that maybe I should be doing something different, or maybe even extra, with my days. I used to look at my life in a timeline. “By 20, I will be doing this. By 30, I should be here and at 40 if I am not the Queen of the world I have failed!” When I think about where I want to be and the fact that I want to be a physician and run the world one airplane at a time, I feel like I am torn between desires. As people we’re complex creatures. We don’t just want one thing, we want it all…whatever “all” is. My all seemed far fetched and unrealistic until

I SAW A LIVE SPEAKER BROADCAST FEATURING ROBERT AND KIM KIYOSAKI AND JOINED MY OWN MLM BUSINESS…

It was my senior year and I was the president of the National Society of Leadership and Success. I hosted a live speaker broadcast for all of the members of my org. and listen to Robert and Kim speak about the importance of entrepreneurship. They explained that the rudimentary way of going to school and getting a 9-5 job wasn’t working any more. It wasn’t securing jobs, it wasn’t paying off student loans or hospital bills, and it wasn’t allowing people room to do the things they desire the most.

After that speaker broadcast, I immediately got on the phone with my mother and told her that I was getting into business and I was going to ease our financial burden if it killed me! This verbal affirmation to the one woman who has been my rock, sound board, and adviser was the first time I had gave a promise and offered up my life.

Since then I never looked back. I went out and signed on with my primary business, using the returns of my investment to pay for school, traveling, and growing my business.

MY CALL TO ACTION…

I encourage everyone I meet online or offline to make a promise to themselves to do better, be better, and to make sure they get everything that life has to offer them. NOT being able to afford it, shouldn’t be an excuse. There is a way! There’s always a way.

Corporate America, The Biggest Pyramid Scheme of them All

A lot of people have been asking about NETWORK MARKETING and whether it correlates to financial freedom or not. I have also been getting a lot of people writing off network marketing as a pyramid scheme. I just wanted to put some things in perspective for everyone.

Pyramid Scheme: (according to the Federal Trade Commission, FTC) are characterized by plans where the money you make is based primarily on the number of distributors you recruit and your sales to them, rather than on your sales to people outside the plan who intend to use the products.” FTC, also says that NOT all multi-level/ network marketing business are pyramid schemes.

If you look at those 1% that run or head corporate America they make money off of all the people that they hire (recruit) to sell or facilitate the sell of a specific product or trade and everyone gets promoted or demoted based on how many deals they close and/or people they recruit. SOUND FAMILIAR????….

They disguise it by saying the corporate system is a “ladder” and not a pyramid but last time I checked you still have to step on people, or have enough people under you in order to reach your goal in the corporate system.

If people are so willing to choose that route (as insecure as it is and with it’s low compensation plan for beginners) to gain financial stability, why is everyone so quick to throw the word “scheme” at network marketers?????
